Beginning with the bidding process, Wayne's team stood out above the rest.  We met the gwo foremen, plumbers, electricians, etc., who would be working with us.  They assessed the house and gave us excellent ideas about the project.

Ours is an older home, with some "surprises" expected.  The first of these involved drainage underneath the house.  Wayne's experience with this sort of thing was very reassuring, and the problem was dealt with in a logical and timely fashion.

We lived in the house during the remodel, which lasted about 5 months.  The entire team was respectful of our privacy and of my children.

During the final days of the project, Wayne, Laura, and team combed through the finished rooms, which were absolutely perfect.  The custom kitchen cabinets were painted by Parker Contracting Services and the paint job is immaculate.  I appreciate the fine carpentry work that went into the details and trims.

“When we bought our newly rebuilt 1906 home on Queen Anne we were delighted.  The home had been renovated to include a full basement and a master suite in the former attic.  It was beautiful and we were happy to move into a home that needed nothing else done.  And then…little things started to go wrong.  Small, stupid little oversight in the construction (we thought) but six months in we had a flurry of houseguests and the guest shower leaked.  Poured actually. The water from the second floor bath flowed freely through the lights in the kitchen ceiling!

That’s when we called Wayne Parker and his team.  And thank goodness that we did!  The small, stupid oversights of the original contractor added up to a long list of big mistakes.  From long nails shot through plastic water pipes to improperly installed windows and siding, our home was one shoddy mess!

Wayne was professional and straightforward with us.  He provided us with estimates and timelines.  He responded within minutes to phone calls and e-mails.  We received regular updates.  Laura was prompt with sending invoices.  We always felt that we knew what to expect every day when the team arrived.

And the team was fabulous!  The attention to detail was exquisite.  The guest bath was repaired and the mess contained to that space.  I work from home and my office is directly across from that bathroom.  So I really appreciated the effort that was made to keep things neat and out of my way.  Every day they cleaned up and gave me a report on what to expect the next day.

We also felt that they respected our home.  When the siding project began, they made certain that our artwork was taken off the walls so the pounding outside didn’t knock anything to the ground.  And every night, the mess was cleaned up.
